Doctoral Students, from any stage of their PhD, and young researchers with a maximum of one year after their PhD dissertations, are invited to propose a paper on their doctoral research featuring technical and non-technical aspects of eSociety, eGovernance, eParticipation, eDemocracy, eGovernment and eHealth and present it in this colloquium.
The overall intention of this colloquium is connecting young researchers and PhD students with others senior researchers and practitioners on the ICEDEG topics. It let them receive a friendly welcome to their work and can have a feedback which could be very positive and further enhance their doctoral research career that has just begun.
The colloquium is an opportunity of exchange of experiences and networking in a cross sectoral and transdisciplinary environment for PhD students and young researchers.
Phd students and young researchers will be encouraged to discuss their PhD experience and vision gained from current works, including challenges there are facing, their research scope and future orientation and perspective in a peer to peer learning environment with other doctoral students from around the World. Therefore, they are getting feedback and guidance from leading researchers, academics and professionals participating in the conference.
The colloquium will host 6-14 students and up to 4 leading researchers who will be invited from professionals, scholars and experts in eGovernment.
It will be welcomed all PhD students within the field of information and communication technologies in the public sector, public administration, political science, information systems, knowledge management, service management, economics, social sciences, and law.
Newly 1-year-post-doctoral researchers are welcoming in these fields as well.

Submissions will be reviewed by the chairs of the doctoral colloquium and TCP/reviewers, if so. It may have to be revised according to review comments before final acceptance. On acceptance, further instructions for preparing the camera-ready paper for the Ph.D. colloquium will be provided.
