Smart Government and Smart Cross-Culture Schemes. Lessons from Practice of Smart Governments within Cultural Diversity 

Abstract: Research on smart government and intelligent technology initiatives within the GCC region, provides an analytical perspective on why considerable projects are unsuccessful in many aspects even though these initiatives had significant investments.

This study attributed the short comings to cross-cultural divergence and dissimilarities between the project implementer's and central governance cultures.

This speech is denoted towards how cross-cultural diversities can strengthen smart government practices and provide an insight on “The Emirati Smart City Scheme” - an attempt to surmount barriers of cross- cultural disparity for the success of e/smart ICT / knowhow projects transfer from G7 and alike states to the GCC and MENA, by influencing diversified strength towards optimal services to Citizens utilizing Smart Technologies.

Currently participating as Sr. Advisor, on the General Affairs and e/i/s-Gov. Systems in Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAE; by Providing techno-commercial advisory services / solutions on the smart ICT / e-Gov./ s- applications.
